Article 41 - Artificial womb

An Artificial Uterus is a device enabling the incubation and gestation of an embryo or fetus similar to the natural occurring uterine capabilities of a female organism of the species but external and separate to the body of a female of the species and able to carry the embryo or fetus to full term and birth.

While there are compelling arguments to suggest that technology enabling the survival and carrying to full term a viable aborted fetus, the negative social implications especially associated with cloning make the support of such technology extremely dangerous for society.

Any research or development in the area of an artificial uterus is strictly forbidden, reprobate, to be suppressed and not permitted to be revived.

Canon 4850 (link)

Any working prototype of fully operation versions of an artificial uterus are strictly forbidden, reprobate, to be seized and destroyed and not permitted to be revived.
